Bossa Nova Walking Tour

Explore the origins of Bossa Nova, the celebrated brazilian musical genre that began in the late 1950s. This guided tour takes you through 10 key locations in Ipanema and Copacabana that shaped the history of the genre. Discover the bars, homes, and streets where legends like Tom Jobim, Vinícius de Moraes, and João Gilberto wrote and performed their timeless music.

SUP-Kayak Crossing

The Arroyo Maldonado, which washes the shore of our beach, is ideal for water sports. We board stand-up paddle boards and kayaks at the River Club to row along one of the largest wetlands in Latin America. A beautiful tour that allows us to see distinct species of native birds. Upon disembarking at La Barra, a barbecue menu will be served to the guests in an exclusive area of the Las Piedras Beach Club.

Dinner in the Forest

A dinner in the darkness of a dense forest is the invitation to an enchanted night to share with friends. It is a unique and exclusive experience, specially created to stimulate all the senses. Soft lights and natural sounds of the night harmonize with live instrumental music performed by a string quartet. A dinner where bonfires and the ambience are the protagonists of a Uruguayan parrillada designed exclusively for the occasion.

Art & Cheese Tour

We propose the tour based on the purposes of the tour: for general knowledge, collecting, art curatorship or to meet local artists; and according to the style preferences of the participants: local art, modern art, contemporary art, pop art, and temporary exhibitions. Maldonado offers a vast variety of museums, galleries, ateliers and exhibition centers such as MACA, Fundación Atchugarry, Skyspace by James Turrell, and Casapueblo by Paez Vilaró, just to name a few. At the end of the tour, we will welcome you with a cheese board and drinks on the lounge deck. Our typical fondue, our winter specialty, is also available.

Horseback Riding & Cheese Board

The Las Piedras horseback riding experience is an excellent opportunity to get to know the most beautiful spots of the property in a fun and adventurous way. Riding our tame horses and in close contact with nature, you will be able to see native animals that inhabit our property. The experience ends with a cheese and cold cuts platter at the Equestrian Center.

Passeio de Bicicleta & Piquenique Saudável

Maldonado offers excellent views of its coasts and rural areas for biking lovers. It is an activity of high physical demand, where we ride along the road and through the countryside, cycling through the most beautiful spots of the East coast. The experience ends with a healthy picnic at Las Piedras park.

Private Dinner on the Rooftop

Ideal for a special moment for couples or events with up to nine guests, the dinner held on the Rooftop is an invitation to contemplate the view of the Todos os Santos Bay in an intimate and totally privileged ambience for the occasion. The menu, consisting of up to five courses, is crafted based on classic Italian gastronomy recipes and personalized according to the guests’ preferences for each event. The wine pairing is curated with labels endorsed by the Group’s Executive Sommelier, Manoel Beato, along with a selection of original creations and classic cocktails.

Bahian Cooking Class

Enjoy the aromas and flavors of local gastronomy while learning to prepare some of Bahia’s most beloved dishes, such as Moqueca or Casquinha de Siri. The class is conducted by a specialized chef.

Mixology Class

For those who want to learn more about the world of mixology, this practical class taught by the Bartender of Gero Restaurant Salvador features recipes for classic cocktails and original creations.

Chef Fasano Bambini

Cooking can be a fun and educational activity for parents and children. This class uses recipes from Italian cuisine to explain measurements and recipes, as well as kitchen safety tips for the little ones.
